What's that you see? Show me a world

In a word, Through All Things is about perspective. From the right perspective, what was once old is now new, the small suddenly seems big, the boring never looked so beautiful, and yet, each of these perspectives holds some truth in them. While not always easy, it's a powerful way to see our world, in my opinion.

I've created Through All Things as a way to simultaneously present four perspectives into a single topic, person, or event. Each perspective is represented by a video and written article that can stand alone. But when you explore the four perspectives all at once, as a "story cycle", it becomes a whole new experience. You pick and choose your own adventure, one that may have new meaning every time.

In the very least, this is an experiment in journalism and an exercise in storytelling. At times, it might feel like nothing more than a daydream. But at its best, I want to see, quite literally, a world with more meaning, context, moods, and proof that Aristotle, in his once and future world, was right: "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”
